It's a nice hostel, but the kitchen is too small and you can't use that from 7 p.m to 11p.m. they have a family dinner every night but It's only pasta, if you want to cook something different you need wait. The Shower Isn't good to. The location is good and they have party every day.
Had the best time at Hostel One! The rooms and the location are great - but it was the staff that really made it a memorable experience. They are friendly and caring, and work so hard to make sure that you're having a good time (especially in socializing with the other travelers). Thank you to everyone at Hostel One!
I think overall the hostel facilities were decent, altho the pillow was dead hard, which is a weird thing to say coz hostel pillows are usually lumpy or too soft. I feel like however, the atmosphere was a bit too sterile, and the attempts to socialise felt a bit forced. Would've liked drinking games that were a bit more involved than using an app on your phone. When a 9.8 hostel advertises themselves as a party hostel, I was just expecting a bit more.
Had a great time at H1 Budapest. I was feeling quite sick for most of it, but I still managed to have a great time. The vibe is great in Budapest and it’s easy to go out and do things and also chill and watch Netflix if you want. Highly recommend any hostel one location, the dinners and community feel are great. Be ready to meet best friends
Awesome hostel! friendly staff and very welcoming atmosphere. Easy to travel alone and instantly meet friends I was never alone for my week there. Great meals together, drinking games and varied nights out every night!

I have stayed in hostel one twice now and would recommend to anyone travelling to Budapest to stay there. The hostel has great modern amenities and comfortable beds. I was at no stage worried about my belongings as the rooms are all key card lockable with individual lockers inside each room as well. They provide a free dinner each night and have an onsite bar where you can relax or join in the drinking games they put on before they take you out on the town. The staff are alll extremely helpful and fun.
I had the chance to spend 1 week in this hostel, it's been only 1 day since I left and I already want to go back! The staff working there became like family and the other travelers were just as wonderful! The accommodation is clean, comfortable and the lounge area is an easy place to meet new people. The activities during the night, the free meal, and the parties are a definite plus (Foghasaz, on tuesday night was my favorite!). If you hesitate to book I don't know what you are waiting for just GO!! + location is perfect
ps.: Just don't put your valuable stuff on the window sill if you are on the first floor, I got my purse stolen through the window lol
